BVOD uses our proprietary technology and a Digital Video Recorder (DVR) to deliver video content to your locations by remotely instructing the DVR receiver to tune to a channel and record the video to the hard disk drive.
Accessing the stored video is similar to watching a DVD. A user tunes to a virtual channel with a customized screen containing a series of menu options; you can use this menu structure to categorize your content to make it easy to find. Users navigate the menu using the remote control to select the video they want to watch. Once the video begins to play, the user can easily fast forward, rewind, pause or stop it. Content can also be restricted to certain personnel, such as managers or supervisors.
Since the video is stored on a hard disk drive, the content can be watched over and over again with no change in quality. Video tapes wear out, take up storage space and get lost. BVOD eliminates all those issues. BVOD is also available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, making broadcasts conveniently available to workers in multiple shifts and time zones.
