Satellite Fleet
EchoStar has launched 10 satellites and currently maintains the operational and capacity rights on more than 14 U.S. domestic satellites, which provide customers with thousands of all-digital television channels, including interactive TV services, sports programming, high-definition television, international programming and business television networks.
Fiber Optic Network
EchoStar’s digital fiber optic network has point of presence in over 168 cities across the United States and several countries worldwide. Our highly reliable global network is used to backhaul, aggregate and distribute video and audio content for our domestic and international customers.
Gateway Facilities
EchoStar currently maintains and operates seven satellite gateways that are state-of-the-art digital broadcast facilities providing continuous growth and enhancement to programming choices for millions of DISH Network customers. EchoStar’s gateways are also utilized as content gathering and distribution points for domestic and international network programming and business television networks. Highly trained engineers, technicians and operators work 24/7 to ensure superior signal transmission while continuously improving signal quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
